Unless you attempt to enter from one border, are told no, and then you try to get around that by entering from the opposite border (as was the case here), I think you'll be fine.

Fair enough! 🙂

I'll try to put this more succinctly; what you're presenting is conjecture, not evidence. What evidence is available does not support your argument. You're welcome to disagree.

You're right, context does matter. Everything communicated both in the scene and throughout the rest of MGS reinforces the opposite of what you're arguing. There's scant supporting evidence, but plenty against.

Hell, even The Snake Soup felt it necessary to address: thesnakesoup.org/myth-article...
Myth: Snake dyes his hair :: THE SNAKE SOUP
"Sorry, he's just a pineapple (brunet on the outside, blond on the inside)."

Again, sorry, no, that still doesn't track. If the implication is that the finished briefing sequence uses early artwork, it runs in direct contradiction to all of the additional artwork, from the earliest concept art for Solid Snake to the in-game Codec portraits. It's all been very consistent.

Sorry, no. It's a style choice meant to resemble a false color image, like what you would see in old security camera footage. The notion that it has anything to do with the unused ideas for Snake's hair color is totally unsubstantiated.

Unless you're suggesting that Vamp is also blonde.
