. . .which is why we must compel prosecutors to prosecute. E.g. Prop 12-- "on the books" for years; but not a single cruelty investigation/prosecution.
Some states have admin laws allowing for exactly this kind of pressure.

Maybe eggs are expensive because BigAg roasted 66 million egg-laying #hens (and #turkeys) alive in 2023, via mass-induced heatstroke (VSD+) when they caught H5N1.
BigAg is indemnified by US tax dollars and refuse to #vaccinate against H5N1 as China, Mexico, Egypt and many other countries are doing.⤵️

Let's debunk the myth that there's anything 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 about 4-month old #turkeys weighing 41lbs.
Hi-speed weight gain makes turkeys so morbidly top heavy, 60% have swollen feet; 25% have arthritis; some have their legs break under them.
All suffer pain walking or standing.
