I actually don't think he has a portrait in this version. I'm skimming through an LP on youtube by a fellow named Duke Donuts who played it on real hardware and it's just textboxes.

Shout out to all of the characters that get upgraded animations on their attacks and the only way it shows in a tiny side-by-side still shot thumbnail is a few extra particle effects that you'll never see on a normal-size phone screen

Granblue is so funny because uncapping characters will often change their sprites and animations in battle, but the ability to show that *outside* of battle is so laughably restricted that 90% of the time you get shit like this where I had to AB compare them in an image editor to notice the change

Sierokarte's Knickknack Academy, Granblue's "new" (it's actually about a year and a half old) fast track new player catch up system is a pretty good addition to the game, but it's very funny that it stonewalls you for a single element until you make massive story progress
