I just say “Thanks. You, too.”. This is also my response to someone saying “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Easter” to me. I take it as a well-meaning expression of good wishes, even though I don’t celebrate any of those holidays.

Related: I feel like a lot of the piracy vs buying discourse (🤢 that this is even a thing) gets framed as stealing money from individual authors vs. stealing from faceless corporate publishers when for most authors it’s about whether or not they’ll get to publish another book.

I like yours better. I find it more visually striking and interesting. The apples and bowl stand out better against the black background and each other.
