My apologies to Jim Rash, but I can never see Miller as anything other than Jim's character in Community.

Remember when Conservatives claimed Obama would use FEMA funds for concentration camps 7 years ago?

Literally every accusation is a confession.

New #eldenringnightreign boss up today - Sovereign Pest. Fun fight. Felt a bit more like a marathon than a sprint.

2 things that might be worth adding to your data points: 2012 was a lifetime ago, and Tate’s audience is definitely not all white.

You can lie about a lot of things to a lot of people as a politician, but you have to be aware that at the end of a long string of bad policy decisions, the economic impact will eventually land.

Reddit was right there, and if they wanted to replicate the feeling of those early hacker BBSes, that would have been the only real option.

Instead of getting an open forum to discuss things, they closed the doors to dissenting opinions, and in so doing, missed the friction responsible for success.

This Semafor article is making the rounds today, but one thing that I'd point out in it is that the highlighted quote from Andreessen below is both incredibly wrong, and unfortunately correct at the same time. 1/5

I wonder if Doge has fired Smokey the bear? Can't imagine a Shiba conveying the importance of fire safety, but this is 2025, so who knows what's happening anymore.

Disagree that it’s dying, but it is shrinking. It was over invested, and social media consumption has displaced entertainment hours.

These are unsustainable numbers. Add in mobile, and the movement towards GaaS/hobby titles that eat hundreds of hours per year, and contraction was inevitable.

Still room to keep going down. Look at that entirely unsustainable PE ratio.

Am I off my mark here, or is this the most AI fairy dust of them all?

A 525 PE ratio at a market cap of 238 billion, and just $828 million in revenue in 2024?
