So while I did not *publish* the book I have written by the end of November, I did in fact wrap it up and am in the process of actually getting it out there.
Granted I have a large vacation for like all of December, so I will be doing a much larger push about this when I get home in January.

I have put somewhere in the ballpark of like 30 hours into “Where Winds Meet”, and I am just now finally starting the main quest so I can move on to the second area.
At this rate I’m looking at like…a casual few hundred hours by the time the game catches up to the CN version.

Okay I have not been able to find time to get the revision done for the final chapter in my book the past few days.
So I will dedicate time tomorrow to sitting in a coffee shop and being a mysterious author in the corner to get it done.

Also looking at what my goals are going to be next year. I would say I would be starting them sooner but a month long trip to Japan makes that difficult

So in Arc Raiders there is a door glitch. You don't need to know what it is, just that the gamers are brainstorming all the "easy" ways to "fix" the doors and it's simultaneously hilarious and horrifying. My two favorite solutions are "add a kill volume" and "put a second door behind the door".

Had an alpha reader come back with no notes and only praise for a chapter, chomping at the bit for the next one. Which on one had is great, feels awesome, love it.
But I rewrote that chapter like 15 times and I swear it needed something, so maybe I was in my own head about it.

Man, took a break from working on my book revisions, and played a bit of "Where Winds Meet" and I am such a sucker for Wuxia based stories and themes. Such a fun free game.
I can't say how long it will be in rotation, but at least for right now I am certainly enjoying my time with it.

I apply for the Pokémon Company every time relevant roles come up, but it has been so many years now that I literally see the growth of my career across each version of my resume I send (I save them all). Not to toot my own horn, but I'm kinda proud of myself ngl. 😭 I'm working really hard.
