hello! i'm wharf, a senior game design student at UW-Stout. i'll largely use bsky to post WIPs, doodles, and silly things (but occasionally finished pieces too hehe,) so check out my arstation to see my portfolio!

A traditional sketch done in ballpoint pen of a Khajiit, from the Elder Scrolls series. Khajiit are humanoid cat creatures with high levels of intelligence and developed culture. This one sits on a log with a coat and hat on, fishing from a shore. A tin bucket full of bait sits next to him, and the overall tone of the drawing is one of peaceful mundanity.

Ye Ol' Woodland Cafe-- A modular level kit made in Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and UE5. Inspired by the Redwall series as well as @elderscrollsonline.com's Sadrith Mora.

I've thought about Redwall a lot recently, leading me down the forest/nature route for this project :)

i can conceptualize and sculpt high quality models, both organic and hard surface, then UV them, texture them, rig them, animate them, and put them in engine.

but the moment i have to touch a single line of c++ i collapse into a pile of spaghetti

I recommend using leaves, sticks, dirt, to camouflage the net traps you’ll need to set and monitor, the most pivotal part of growing Peruvian giant corn as far north as Sheboygan county Wisconsin, this is the best method of catching the deep state agents who will attempt to destroy your corn/life.

"Radix Multorum Lassa" (The Weary Root of Many)

I cannot find the words to describe the meaning of this piece, so I will allow her to speak for herself.

Skeletal in stature, with sunken eyes and cheeks-- in a long-awaited moment of solace, she begins a graceful dance among the bamboo shoots.

a work in progress, my hard surface modeling final. a deeply intimate symbolic exploration of forced motherhood and the complex relationship between femininity and freedom.

made this poster for our game we made this semester :) if you remember the eyeball cat guy, this is what he was for!
