I haven’t seen any of the pro-go for 2 crowd address the time remaining factor. Knowing how many possessions you’ll need doesn’t much matter when the odds of getting those possessions are minuscule

I think a lot depends on how much time is left. If it’s the middle of the 4th quarter? Sure. But “We need two scores” with two minutes left is, for all intents and purposes, over.
