Thank you. I was about to make the same comment. Frankly, this is racist in my opinion. "He's Afghan therefore he hates America and Americans" is what the other side is trying to spin. Another classic case of correlation presented as causation.

I'm not sure who "we" is. I believed them. I also realize the emails likely contain vastly more information than any one witness can provide, including possibly information no one yet knows about. Yes, it is a shame some people didn't believe the victims before but I'm still not clear who "we" is.

I'm all in favor of action to blow up the status quo. I also live in the real world. I wish I could go the week doing all of the things on the list but I simply can't. I hope the strategy helps and I'll participate to the extent that I can but, as I said, I'm not privileged to do all of it and be ok

I'm not privileged enough to do all of this. I have a job, I'm saving my PTO for my daughter's wedding next year, and if I simply didn't show up Monday - Thursday I'd get fired. Rent is due Monday, I don't have the privilege of not paying it. The list goes on.

The question is, who's telling him that? He's too stupid to know of this himself which means someone with an agenda is "whispering in his ear." As with everything, I start from the assumption that Trump's serving as someone's useful idiot and they're manipulating him for their own purposes.

This might seem trivial at first, but when I taught h.s. history and discussed assimilation v. accomodation as they relate to immigration I sometimes would share this story from NPR. My rationale began with the fact that almost every one of my students knew what (Americanized) Chinese food is.

Who among us hasn't "accidentally" transported key evidence in a criminal case 1,100 miles away. I'm sure he was just anxious to get home for Thanksgiving and didn't realize he was driving the vehicle that's needed to prove he acted justifiably. 🙄
