He/Him.
Discussing all things related to TV and film.
Love hot weather so Winter is my Kryptonite.
I loved that incarnation of Thr Defenders!
If I remember correctly, Iceman and Cloud (who could change to gaseous form) were also on the team at that time.

He’s rich and just uses gizmos like a “time horn” to wreak havoc. He’s fought Spider-Woman and Spider-Man, among others.

I find those relaxing too and also animated shows.
For some reason, watching "Adventure Time" episodes instantly gets me relaxed, I can feel my blood pressure lowering as I watch it.

Is she still that naive that she thinks Republicans are going to do anything about that?
They haven't done sh*t on the 10,376 other illegal and inept things that Hegseth and Trump have done, but Rachel really thinks they're going to do something about it now?

It’s absolutely one of the saddest endings to a film I’ve ever seen. It’s a gut-punch.

MAGA treat the Constitution like the Bible. They embrace the stuff they like and toss out the rest.

The problem is that they’ll only keep something if it generates 1000% profits for them and TCM won’t do that for them, so they’ll just jettison it.

I want to live long enough to see Trump and his goons get consequences for what they’ve done to this country.

I enjoyed it and thought it was better than all the other FF films.
And they got Galactus right this time.
I think they’ll be more fun when they join the rest of the MCU and mingle with the other heroes.

I love Rey, I hope they follow through on making another film with her character.
I’d love to see a series of books or a comic series with her adventures after “The Rise of Skywalker”.

Considering Netflix doesn’t seem to care about anything before the 21st Century, I imagine they’ll just dump them.
This is why I buy physical media, so I can own these precious films and not have to worry about the whims of megalomaniacs.

My favorite De Palma film. 👌

Looks like another Hallmark “opus” where an uppity independent woman goes to a small town and finds her life is complete by being enslaved by a beefy simpleton with half her IQ who breeds her and feeds her a steady diet of hot chocolate and shame. 🤮🤮🤮

Sifting through racks of LPs is one of life’s greatest pleasures and I love that it’s a thing again.

I love the TCM (Turner Classic Movies) section of HBO Max and I'm sure that'll be the first thing dropped.
This is why I buy physical copies of films whenever I can, because I imagine in 20 years no classic film will be easily accessable.

They let all the incels pressure them into cancelling Discovery, which I thought was a terrific show.
God forbid we have a show with a female Captain.
Had the internet existed back when Star Trek: Voyager was on the air, that would have been cancelled early too.

20 years from now (or sooner) Disney and Netflix are going to own everything and there'll be no other movie studios.
It's going to SUCK.
December 6, 2025 at 1:56 AM
I agree, though I do subscribe to The Criterion Channel. Nothing beyond that though.

Be prepared to pay $50/month (with ads) for Netflix.

Not really, one’s just as bad as another.

It’s hilarious how all those clowns put “Christian” front and center in their profiles when they don’t have an ounce of moral fiber.
They’re all 90-pound-weaklings who think they’re Mister Universe. Deluded, corrupt wastes of oxygen.

They know the cult will believe everything they say.
They can say gold doubloons shoot out of Trump’s as* and inflation’s dropped 1,345,754% and the brain-dead cultists will eat it up.

I can't count the number of reactions to "Carrie" (the original good one) that I've seen where the reactors think Sue and Tommy are allied with Chris to hurt Carrie.
That always irritates me. When I first saw the film at 11-years-old, I knew even then that Sue and Tommy weren't out to hurt her.
