A nine hour drive to catch a blast of salty sea air before it goes dark. I needed this.
A fast-flowing steam enters the sea at a boulder-strewn cove in far west Cornwall. There are rocky islets on the horizon. The blue sky is heavy with big grey and white and clouds, and a weak light as it is the end of the day.
