Pro/Rel system isn’t what’s bankrupted clubs, it’s their owners putting insignificant money into the club or saddling them with insane amounts of debt.
More clubs have folded in the US closed league system in the past 30+ years than almost anywhere else in the world.

They are not directly but there is some overlap between the Power & DC United ownership as well as Power & Loudoun United ownership.
Even if they pay no rent the operating costs of the stadium with their attendance outweigh any benefit they have from playing at Audi Field.
