i agree, i'd prefer for it to be in react-native. it'll get there eventually. in my very biased opinion, i think it's fine to tell folks that they should use expo, since most will already be using it and the react-native docs recommend it. it's free and oss. reactnative.dev/docs/environ...

we use this extensively for exploring our bundles, not just to understand app size. it makes it easy to look at uncompiled/transpiled source code side-by-side, for example. expo.dev/blog/introdu...
