This is, of course, awful but it’s pretty easy to get hold of an Uber sticker. There’s not much Uber could do about this.

It was the 1860’s and 1870’s but needless to say that’s not the point and ironically they also called it the War Department back then. The pillar has had many more recent cracks, I used to work with the reserve officer who was the commandant at Abu Ghraib.

"Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" reports on countless incidents of illegal orders being given and followed. Treaties and laws were often meaningless. Instances where officers chose to disobey an illegal order usually didn't work out well for the officer. We're not as honorable as we pretend to be.

Been there mostly for business but always felt that every square inch of the place was designed to vacuum the money directly from your pockets. Some good shows though.
