The story of my decorations. Part 1 - the trees.
We have a real tree in the lounge, minimal decorations, in purple and gold to match the decor. We have a artificial one in the dining room (which we've had since 1999) which is more fun themed.

Big milestone today! As the water was 8° it was my first sub 10° swim (that's a big deal in the wild swimming world)!

Yes it was cold, yes it hurt, yes I felt great afterwards!

Today's swim photo is bought to you from the bank as it was far too windy and cold to mess around getting my phone out in the water!
It was very choppy out there but that made for lots of giggles as we got splashed.

I did it! Swim number 10! A grey and chilly swim but lots of fun, with some swans and a comorant along too.
I'll try and carry on a bit longer into the winter, but I'm so proud that I got 10 in.

Weather looks worse than it was, it was my phone holder making it look misty!

Choppy seas today for my 9th swim. And there was a big boat!

Gorgeous walk this evening, started off with a beautiful pink sky then as dusk fell the bats came out and we finished off with a huge full moon.
As usual the camera doesn't do it justice.

The little things really do make a difference.

They have an impact on performance and efficiency.

These comments qualify the data, they explain the data. My recommendations are never based on data alone. They are based on the data alongside the comments and an understanding of the situation the school is in.

That's what makes me different and an expert at what I do.

I can't rely on this data, I can go online now and order the trousers I've been eyeing up in a size 10. They won't fit.

Because sometimes, the data lies.

That's why my surveys use data but don't rely on them. The agility to leave comments is where the magic happens.

You can't always rely on data. Tonight I'm wearing size 10 jeans. I am not a size 10. I'm very comfortably and happily a size 14.

I haven't suddenly lost weight, these jeans have just been made wrong (welcome to the world of women's clothes sizes!).
