im the same, I've tried to enjoy so many and without fail I think 99% of them just immediately throw me off and the magic is lost to me... especially when they are very otherwise serious

I am cracking down on more painting practice, lately been using the Asaro 3D head to incorporate more detail into the planes of faces.
Having a lot of fun!! Focusing on one aspect of a study lets me insert the bits I enjoy (colour, and adding hints of texture) while also learning valuable stuff.

this has been the main reason I haven't drawn much, just exhausted keeping on top of vet appointments and worrying.
Wanted to share the good vibes because WHUFF what a year. And what absolute LUCK that we acted quick. now he's happy & fit, just minus an eye! and just had his 8th birthday :)

Been loving the thick oil brushes in clip studio, they used to give me a lot of grief. But once I worked out how the texture and colour blending behaves they have been a treat.

Im so sorry Kodi <3 something I try to remember is that their lives are entirely focused around our love for them, so while it hurts so much for us; we made their little life the best it could be. she was loved and will see you again one day 💙

Im so sorry Kodi <3 something I try to remember is that their lives are entirely focused around our love for them, so while it hurts so much for us; we made their little life the best it could be. she was loved and will see you again one day 💙
