got started with making games with raylib yesterday and it's so far been pretty smooth! I really like it. I'm not sure what game I'll make with it, but right now i'm working on a voxel engine. IT WILL NOT BE MINECRAFT CLONE (probably)

i was having a terrible time with performance in javascript, so i decided to remake the engine in love2d. and it's going pretty well! I got fov stuff done, i got movement done, i got collision, map loading, all that juicy stuff done! however i still have no 3d projection or ray collision.

Haven’t posted about this in a long while, but here is what I currently have! the yellow lines are meant to be the raycasts, but i haven’t implemented collision detection yet. But, i can now make a map using 1s, and 0s. And also made it so the map moves instead of the player!

i actually did make the same thing in kaplay.js, however scrapped it, for the reason i said before. I had to rewrite basically ALL the code, it's just the torad function i copied over.

I got something that I really like, and seems pretty accurate too! It does start to turn magenta or blue when you go too far, but I can just increase the StudsPerTile property and that'll be fixed. So I think it'll be best to make a script that automatically does that for me.

been trying to create the funky pixel screen effect from this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGkb... but in the Roblox engine. I've been having a bit of trouble, due to Roblox using Direct X, and I have heard Unreal Engine uses Vulkan. So there's that.
