Not very compassionate: IRCC's processing time tool now says it will be TEN YEARS for a Humanitarian and Compassionate applications to be processed if submitted today. 10 years! Imagine if you were someone with a compelling H&C and this is the wait time.

Is there such thing as immigration tariffs? A month ago, the processing time for the same thing was ~6 weeks, now it’s 81. Sigh. #immigration #canada

Citizenship ceremonies never get old, and this one is particularly special with Dr. Elder Joe Michael reminding us of the Mi’kmaw history and tradition of Sipekne'katik and that we are guests here. He also reminded us that his culture is traditionally matriarchal “as my wife says: be careful”

With a cap of only 1000, dog-eat-dog selection process and questions like this on the forms (never seen on any other IRCC application forms), Canada isn’t even pretending to want to help people in Gaza with this program. #immigration #canada www.canada.ca/en/immigrati...
