Web Developer (focusing on Elixir nowadays).

So is it a Shit Out of Luck Application? 😅 /jk. In Portuguese (well most Latin languages I presume), Sol = Sun but you know that for sure.

Anyway, spiked my interest. 🫡

I re-read and I missed this part: "When it comes back online, the replication slot will send the WAL records it has missed.".
So yes the only issue would be if you remove the listener but not the replication slot, so I migration would fix it. Thanks. :)

Great post, Peter.
Now, regarding the persistent replication, maybe some type of cleanup routine could help mitigate the possible con, or it's not possible?

Man, even the LLMs brings support bots from East Asia. 😅
Could be worst tho, imagine a support bot from Scotland!

But Google is as if not much more shady. The only option outside of those ecosystems is something like a Fairphone or something.

Considering it is Destiny 2, they were probably not removed, they were just Vaulted.

Completely true, but what is ironic is trying to use AI as the more ethical excuse...

Software is a new human creation and it has been getting more complex over the few decades it has been around. With the added complexity we can also see a lot more bugs, specially in corporate led apps, Apple for instance is a great example. What we needed was la pièce de résistance, The AI SLOP!

It translates well in Portuguese too,
AM: Antes do Meio-dia.
PM: Pos Meio-dia.

Your version is better of course. :P

Rush is great! Do you happen to like TOOL, too? I find generally people like both. TOOL is favourite band for sure. But Rush is great. 🫡

Your work on this has been amazing, Leandro! I’m using it to power my personal website (still WIP) and it has been a pleasure to work with. Profundo obrigado!

Digital to Analog, neat idea!

I think Personal websites are as valuable as ever. People should write more on their websites and less on social media for sure. Furthermore we don’t know if in the future of the web, which is something very very new, if there will be space for personal expression and personal websites.

Really great design on the Helmet. :)

Is the material that faux rubber that after some time it becomes sticky? If it is, hard pass. Also is the sensor better? The DPI is so bad for such an expensive mouse.

I think Factory for good or bad does convey what it does pretty well, creating templated runtime instances. FactorySupervisor could work as a name in that sense I guess since you don’t want to use the moniker Dynamic.
September 26, 2025 at 11:11 AM
I don’t like the name that much because history baggage, but something something Factory?

I do the same thing with the anonymous functions but only if they are not reusable in the same module.

Let's hope Microsoft doesn't survive the AI era that itself didn't survive the that same era.
