IIRC the West Marches finished/dried up before this piece finished, but it is the basis for his more current design. This is among my favorite commissions ever with how well utilized the aarakocra features are used for bard energy.

Ura's final and full reference for his first character iteration for a West Marches game. As an aarakocra and bard, he stands ostentatiously: tail feathers fanned behind him like a halo, wings outstretched, arms up and against his chest like a jojo character, his weird aarakocra leg strutting forward, and his head turned in a teasing stare. His feathers are a lighter blue than his 2nd iteration, but his silk button-down and ribbon-tied pants mirror the purples and blues of his most current form. From Exandria (Critical Role world), Izmshir was an unassuming gnoll from Asarius (the city of beasts). Poverty prevented him from pursuing talents until he manifested consecution (sacred reincarnation) which made him "somebody worth training". Politics ensues. Talent for graviturgy magic.

Ura's had two phases with his first from a 5e West Marches by @bigratgames.bsky.social from like a decade ago. The aarakocra didn't have his Kir Sabal anchor, but he was just as prideful.
