Earlier this month, NYAAF and Women's Emergency Network teamed up for a CABARET FOR ABORTION ACCESS! 🎭

This fundraiser featured over a dozen performances by Broadway, film, and TV stars, and raised $360K to support abortion seekers forced to travel from Florida to New York.

ADVANCE ACCESS FOR ABORTION SEEKERS NYAAF will expand and deepen direct caller services and program offerings. This ensures our callers, including New York residents and people traveling from out-of-state, can access abortion care by providing compassionate, holistic wrap-around services—including Financial, logistical, and emotional support—before, during, and after their abortion. ORGANIZE FOR REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE + LIBERATION NYAAF will organize for reproductive justice by building collective power, shifting public narratives, and dismantling barriers to care. grounded in our callers’ experiences, NYAAF will stand in solidarity with affected people in banned and restricted states, expose access gaps in places where abortion remains Legal, and use community organizing, advocacy, and storytelling to connect abortion access to broader movements for systemic change.

OUR FRAME NYAAF grounds its work in the reproductive justice framework, defined by sistersong as the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities. We recognize that reproductive justice is broader than abortion access and necessitates the deconstruction of all oppressive systems including patriarchy, white supremacy and anti-Blackness, capitalism, imperialism, and ableism.
