Armlet of Strength (Cursed)

"A simple metal ring affixed to the upper arm. Warm to the touch and provides a sense of courage when held."

Provides +3 physical strength

Binds on equip
Pride-locked

Adventurer Notes:

Wearer experiences a growing discomfort with other equipment the longer the armlet is equipped. Metaphysical experiences of chaffing, scratchy sensations, and extreme temperature such as freezing or burning on the skin wherever equipment is worn. Full effects experienced within 5 hours of equip.

Wearer experiences a sense of pleasure, followed by a heat building inside of them that scales with each piece of equipment removed while under this effect.

Tooltip:

Curse is 'Pride-locked'. It is immune to all forms of dispelling and can not be removed until properly unlocked.

A variant of more traditional curse fulfillment criteria, a Pride-locked item must be unlocked via a simple passphrase spoken aloud in the presence of a sufficient (in the case of the Armlet of Strength, 20) amount of conscious witnesses.

The passphrase is intuitively known by the wearer and reports claim the phrase repeats in their mind more and more frequently as the curse progresses without being unlocked.

The passphrase is rarely the same between subsequent Users of the cursed item, though they often share a similar theme.

Known previous passphrases for the Armlet of Strength include:

"I, Orella the Night's Blade, have always been nothing more than a needy whore for novice adventurers. Please use me however you please."

"I've fantasized about becoming a true warrior's living armor fuck toy all my life."

"I hereby sell myself to (bystander's name removed) as a free use cumdumpster for the famous (name of inn removed)."

"Wizards are cooler than warriors."

The following is not considered necessary reading but offers additional context for the fates of the few known previous victims of the Armlet of Strength's curse.

Orella removed the armlet and glared at the group around her before bursting forward and grabbing two of them to take to a nearby inn.

Rumors arose that (region removed) became a hotspot for new adventurers as a powerful Night's Blade whore would service them at a moment's notice and without a word of complaint.

The unnamed 'living armor' curse victim ran away mortified by her words. Rumors claim she's been spotted petrified in a local dungeon. Many claim that's "close enough" and while an order for a softening elixir has been placed, no one's in much of a rush since she's a pretty sight.

(Bystander) claims business is booming! And he's very thankful for the surprise offer from (Curse victim name removed). When asked how she was doing a giggly bouncy slut crawled out from behind the counter and asked if we wanted any free samples.

The final listed curse victim reportedly: " immediately fell to her knees gagging on the words after removing the Armlet" before buying herself some new equipment and setting off, never to be seen in the area again.

Running an RPG party am I right 🙄
I'm starting to think other parties don't all sleep in the same bed either.

I mean look, all I'm saying is the way all of you joined my party feels pretty submissive is all.

I didn't think too much of it at first, but we're 5 strong now and literally all of you just let me make all the decisions.

You're all 4 following directly behind me in a straight line wherever we go.

I equip you which I thought was a strange perk of the position.

I even change your classes whenever I want and you all just kind of excitedly approve of whatever I decide for you.

Personally, every time I think of this post I think of the 'free cursed discount' being something that's very 'reasonable' the first time.

Just one night! No memory of what happened, no lingering effects, it's free!

But say you fucked up a few dungeons... you need to take up that offer again.

Well, maybe you 'wake up' a few days later. Maybe there's some lingering feelings you can't explain or shake away, some heat inside that's bothering you, words you swear you heard someone say that felt Soooo Right and So True, what were they?

Cursed item:
A normal ring-gag

A normal ring-gag is anything but, as it uses powerful illusion magics to not only prevent itself from being perceived for what it is, but to also change its description in ways that benefit it.

It is believed to be both sentient and mildly sadistic.

Disguises itself as any number of 'useful consumables' in an attempt to convince a potential User to place it in or near their mouth.

Once it is able, it latches itself in place and becomes sealed to that equipment slot.

Only then is the true nature capable of being seen.

A normal ring-gag
Cursed
Traits:
"Muffled"- Incapable of fluent speech, prevents spell casting, has varied impact on Charisma.
"Drooling"- Unable to stop leaking saliva
"Erogenous Zone"- Converts mouth into a highly sensitive erogenous zone
"Whispers"- The 'Voice' of A normal ring-gag can be heard in the back of the User's mind.

While all cursed items have a fulfillment trigger that causes them to release the User. A normal ring-gag's trigger has yet to be discovered.

It almost appears to decide on a whim whether it's done playing with its victim, and it is recommended that Users merely obey the 'Voice' until it grants them freedom.
