Bah, maybe I'm just spoiled. But I probably won't be coming back to SF6 with any real seriousness until some pretty significant changes (that I no longer believe Capcom has either the will or the intent to carry out) under the hood.

Wakeup is unpleasant in this game, wakeup in the corner is outright miserable (and doubly so if you have no reliable reversal super or OD reversal), and many characters can boot you into the corner off a single winning interaction *and get oki on top of that.* Often looping that oki into gamewins!

Coming from <other game I've been playing>, the decisionmaking in SF6 feels so lopsided and shallow. The entire game feels patterned around forcing 50/50 (at best) guesses or hard reacts that often lead into 40%+ damage and almost always into oki/plus situations for the attacker. Often both!

Unfortunately, I can't imagine it being displaced any time soon, since the AI bubble has completely fucked PC availability for the foreseeable future.
