Im thinking i need to map out more of the gameplay loop before i start my next project.
FLY2K was an exercise in "can i make these simple controls fun?". I realise now i didnt put enough forethought into the progression of the game. Makes sense as it was supposed to be finished in a few months 😅

So it's more a case of reasonable time investment. Its definitely something I could work on. Ideally I don't ever want to spend more than a year on a project as a solo dev

Ah ok. I can imagine that. You could reference the length of the raycast to set how "perceivable" the player is.
