Don’t know if this has been shared here yet. My overall feelings about this is that it’s not good. Short term, people will lose their jobs. Long term, the industry will be even harder to navigate. Like David said, this has been a long time coming, and I don’t think this is the industry healing.

i always get so baffled by ppl’s “why wasn’t stede mad abt ed hurting the crew” takes bc like. stede understands that ed’s actions were how ed self-harmed. which obviously does not make ed’s actions ok but it does explain why getting mad and yelling at him abt it would be an insane way to respond
