The one problem was they needed music to go with the girls' lyrics. Enter Achim Treu, a German composer who was friends with Robin and her husband Don. They used his dark, lofi synth scores on what would become 'Stardust,' X-Cetra's only album

Eventually they found their way to songwriting. Luckily, Robin O'Brien, mother of Janet and Mary, had made a name for herself in the home taping scene and had turned a guest room into a studio where she helped the girls' vision come to life

Ayden, Jessica, Janet and Mary all met in Santa Rosa, California in the Nineties and loved building imaginary worlds, whether it was homemade movies or a living room dance studio
