How about universal, single payer, health care. Not this medicare for all crap with part A, B, C, D etc, True universal health care. You know, like every other developed country in the free world? Then the gov't wouldn't be throwing $ at insurance middlemen that they are now complaining about.

The prices we get under the ACA are based on Americans as one large group. We won’t get lower prices bargaining individually or by state. And how do people in a country our size bargain as a group? Government! That’s what government is for!

Pre ACA, I saw a man get fired from a small company due to a child with cancer. The insurance company told them owner that he had to fire this man or force him to reduce hours so he would not be on the company plan. The man reduced his hours, going back to full time when his daughter died.
