“In an email from January 2019, Mr. Epstein wrote to Mr. Wolff of Mr. Trump: “Of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.””

Starting to see why Mike Johnson kept the House shut down for weeks rather than allow the 218th signature to release the Epstein docs…
"In one email, Epstein told Maxwell, 'I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump.' He added that an unnamed victim 'spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned.'"

“'I have been thinking about that,' Maxwell wrote back."

It's an interesting Q as to whether if there was an indisputable smoking gun linking Trump to the crimes the GOP would have the guts to properly turn on him (impeachment etc...).

“Poll lead”
It’s all nonsense.
But yes, agree Labour just need to row back on their idiocy.
Be more Labour.

It’s not too late. Reform are a mess, even with their poll lead. No-one else has stormed ahead. Labour still has a massive majority. The problem is really that they’ve chosen a terrible path and are too stubborn to admit it.

Politeness in politics = accusing the “other side” of just about anything other than what they actually are culpable for

It is amazing how we just seem to accept what has happened despite knowing full well it was achieved fraudulently and backed by bad actors

We need to be more French

The reaction in Britain? Sometimes passive, sometimes phlegmatic, sometimes polite.

(let me reaffirm that politeness in politics and even protest is generally to be admired, and something generally positive about the UK)

But not anger. Not the warranted anger for what has happened.

(That is, of course, how you sometimes have to defend quality of life. And France remains a successful country in that regard)

At the same time the Brexiters, the exceptionalists, and their enablers, have given the UK its worst economy since the Napoleonic era.

I have to say, this is earlier than I had expected. But if the UK wants to benefit from being inside the SM, it has to contribute.

As for wanting to pay half as much as others for Erasmus, where do they get off?

The Uk chose Brexit. Stop asking others to pay their way.

Starmer's popularity in the end, is a red herring, we could have an AI as a PM and nobody would like it. His popularity reflects the national mood above much else, there's a lot of hurt out there, but Labour could be making noises about the substantial improvements they're making.

They seek to sabotage the BBC from within, create the space for failure and then occupy the space. This is about getting the messages they want out and using the machinery of the BBC to achieve it.

Gibb is evidently working against the BBC and should be removed with immediate effect.
