They’re double teaming the ankle lock again today. After I escaped Dandy’s one-legged effort yesterday, she has decided this is a whole body job today.
Also Spike has taken a more active role today. Now laying his neck across my ankle.

After shoveling the other day, I draped my coat and hoodie over my bike to dry out.

After recent lapses in her guard duty, allowing me to go into the outside, Dandy has decided the best approach is to hold onto me directly. This is a big sacrifice for her since it requires being near her mortal enemy, my foot.

I went to the Outside for a while today. So Dandy is ignoring me and snuggling with Spike under the covers at my feet.

I very well could have drowned today. Fortunately, Dandy was there to keep me safe. Just knowing she was on lifeguard duty gave me the confidence to shower without drowning.
