Onward Through the Fog

I post facts about environmental laws, regulations, and policies that protect our public lands. This is my fight; my small part of the resistance against Facists and Oligarchs.
Just came here to ask who wrote this headline? Why is it worded as if the science is not clear? Did the editor write the headline or you? Or Allison Aubrey.

I wonder if he has kids, if they attend school? Maybe someone needs to look into how much of a "FREELOADER" Clay Mccallister has been over the years.

We will be hearing about RIFs for many federal employees in the coming weeks. Including employees for the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Managment, US Forest Service and more. #PublicLands are managed by civil servants - your friends and neighbors. Help!

ACTION ITEM!
Federal Land Managment agencies such as the Forest Service and Park Service are required by law to ensure a clean environment. In response to EO 14154 dated January 20th, the Council on Environmental Quality has issued a rule avail for public comment. (1 of 2)

Shortly after hanging the banner, the group sent out a statement:
“The purpose of this exercise of free speech is to disrupt without violence and draw attention to the fact that public lands in the United States are under attack,” it reads.

The "Drill Baby, Drill" is back with Doug Burgam leading the Dept of Interior, which oversees #PublicLands like National Parks, Bureau of Land Managment, US Fish and Wildlife, among others. Please be advised, the fight continues every day.

Guess what? Avoiding environmental regulations jeopardizes clean air, clean water, protection of natural resources, and indigenous sites. What do you want your #PublicLands to do for you?

This links a piece written in 2019 about the Trump border wall construction at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Environmental Laws were waived to move this project forward, despite several lawsuits and opposition from Indigenous people.

This is important. Please remember to pace yourself. We are in this for a long haul. My small spot in BlueSky is tackling the issues facing Public Lands that will inevitably be impacted by the upcoming administration. #Resist

These are our special places like Yellowstone NP, wildlife refuges, wild and scenic rivers, wilderness, endangered and threatened species, indigenous sites... All of these places are protected and managed by civil servants using federal laws. The damage may be irreparable.

Doug Burgum, the Trump nominee for Sect of Dept of Interior and former Governor of North Dakota supports the Dakota Access Pipeline. Remember #NoDAPL. The indigenous people of Standing Rock came together to oppose the pipeline. Americans must come together in the same way to protect our #PublicLands

Trump nominated Doug Burgum to lead the Dept of Interior which oversees National Parks, Bureau of Land Managment, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and all of the natural and cultural resources that are protected. Burgum is a Fossil Fuel guy, and he has called for mining oil and gas on Public Lands. #DOI
