Pg 5 of Give Me A Reason. The woman rustles through her backpack quickly as zombies nearby wake up around her. She grabs a lockpick set and rushes towards a nearby townhouse. Pg 6 of Give Me A Reason. The woman frantically picks the lock to the house. She almost drops the pick, but catches it and opens the door to an empty living room. Pg 7 of Give Me A Reason. The woman checks outside that nothing followed her to the house. She slumps onto the couch in the living room to relax wh8le a small, shadowy figure watches from the corner of the room. Pg 8 of Give Me A Reason. The woman gets up and stretches. She notices a picture of the family that used to live here, a mom, dad, child and cat all smiling. She thinks back to her broken family before a rustling noise from upstairs puts her on alert again. She follows the noise to the upstairs bathroom, but she doesnt see anything inside

After she drops the food and covers her mouth and clutches the cat to her body in fear. The final panel is the front door with a groaning getting louder from outside.

She then notices herself in the mirror, washes the blood off her face, checks if she needs to shave and goes to grab her backpack. The cat from before is standing in the hall. They stare at each other until she breaks the silence with a, "hey."

She sees it's coming from upstairs and readies her axe. She sees the room it's coming from and bashes the door open only to find an empty bathroom.

Page 1 of my comic. It shows a run down and empty city with footsteps echoing through each panel. The last one shows a POV of someone turning a corner and seeing signs of blood. Everything is colored different shades of red, but the blood is green. comic page 2, the POV continues with the character turning the corner more showing a zombie covered in blood and eating a fresh corpse. Breaking the POV an axe is gripped tight and raised. We don't see the person holding it. Comic Page 3. A full page filled with a young woman slicing the axe clean through the zombie's head cutting between the nose and mouth. Comic page 4. The woman is running away repeating, "stupid stupid stupid, etc." to herself. We see the top of the zombie's head laying on the street. She is thinking, "That just made so much noise!! Fuck -----, you're smarter than that." Her name is blocked out. The final panel shows the city and the sounds of rising undead echoing throughout.

More art practice. took a stab at making a 3d mannequin. The top row is me tracing a model and the bottom is me freehanding. Struggled a lot making the proportions right, but I think I got it better by the end.
