I have long hair again now, but the first (and only) time I cut it short (like, chin-length) was when my fist kid was a few months old and I just could not even.

I remember reading some article ages ago by a (male) hairstylist who was like “ladies! You don’t all have to get short haircuts when you have babies!” And the comments were full of ppl being like “all my hair fell out and it’s a totally different texture and my infant keeps grabbing it, fuck off!”
