A project I started a while back and hope to get going again soon. GW plastic ogre conversion and a resin turtle, I can’t remember where from, with a wooden scratchbuilt barrel on top with some Perry yumi ashigaru 😊

I plan on doing another turtle with a cannon on top 😬

Plastic Gw ogre conversion into a Japanese oni, or demon. I sculpted a chon-mage for his hairstyle and sculpted some tabi for his feet. The belly plate was sanded down and painted with the Murakami clan mon (the Murakami were known pirates in the sengoku jidai). A also carved a large katana for. He’s painted with red skin and blue trousers that have a yellow three dot pattern on them.

Talking to a few people and we all agree that it’s very difficult to plan ahead for the next ten-15 years as opposed to ten or 15 years ago. There’s just too much uncertainty both nationally and globally 😕
