"Her house arrest sentence shows that in Canada blocking roads is only a crime if you have the wrong politics"

THE CONVOY TOOK OVER DOWNTOWN FOR THREE WEEKS.

THEY TOOK THE WHEELS OFF THEIR TRUCKS TO MAKE THEM HARDER TO MOVE.

PRO-PALESTINE PEOPLE GO HOME AT THE END OF THE DAY.

IT'S DIFFERENT.

Top story on the National Post.

Just chasing grievance clicks (and $$$) with absolutely no conscience at all.

If Metrolinx’s involvement in the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown is anything to go by, it *will* only make things worse.

The sign says ‘No event parking’ but the QED is still jammed with cars trying to park at Landsdowne. YOU CAN’T PARK THERE, MATE!
In the foreground a sign reads ‘No event parking’. In the background a line of cars waits on the QED trying to get into Landsdowne to park.

IF ONLY THERE WAS SOME OTHER WAY! (Bumper to bumper traffic on Bank Street headed to Landsdowne - yes, those are PARKED CARS in the right hand lane!)
Traffic backed up on Bank Street headed towards Landsdowne. The left hand lane is bumper to bumper while in the right hand lane there are two parked cars.

Very much on brand Ottawa that the repair has finally been made but a traffic pylon has still been left behind.

They have just reinstalled the street light at Bank/Roseberry that was knocked down by a truck and got replaced by a cone for 2 years! Alas my poor, brave, sweet cone. I knew you well. I didn’t get to say a proper goodbye. Thank you for your service. 🥹🥹🥹
A forlorn looking cone partially crushed and covered in dirt placed over the base of a street light. A glorious new street light rises triumphantly like a phoenix from the ashes to take back its rightful place at the southwest corner of Bank and Roseberry. A traffic pylon has been placed near the base of the new street light.

Quid pro quo for the $400M jet he got ‘unconditionally gifted’?

💯! AI translation is absolute garbage! Using it to quickly get the general gist of a document, maybe. Using it to translate content that’s then taken *without revision* and chucked into public facing print and digital documents - absolutely not. The AI bros need to cool their jets.

This is at the end of the Bank Street bridge heading North (right before Landsdowne). I’m assuming at some point they’ll get around to removing it given recent developments …

You were even told when they were ‘coming soon’.
A sign warning drivers that a municipal speed camera is coming soon.

That this even needs to be reiterated … pedestrians in this city are so screwed.

Attention drivers; in intersections and crosswalks always yield to pedestrians.

If it’s cold outside just wear a coat FFS.

Same. Same. Just like the QED when it was closed for a few weeks between Pretoria and Fifth so that upgrades could be made to the Patterson Creek bridge.

The last Sunday of September is Police and Peace Officers National Memorial Day. They all gather on Parliament Hill for a service by the memorial.

“… this was part of an annual family day event for the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE).”

Maybe next year it’s a flight simulator instead?

The military helicopter making multiple low flying passes over the Glebe this morning is not at all distracting 😬

Hot tip: always carry some cash with you - especially if you have no choice but to shop at Loblaws today (and their credit/debit payment system is down).
