Nik was one of my oldest and closest friends, I'm stunned by this news, it's a terrible blow. He was a wonderful person and I always enjoyed our meeting up at least once a year ever since we started that in 2003, and I was a regular in his Twitch streams. I will miss him immensely.

It's currently £20 cheaper to buy a PS5 Slim Digital and a disk drive than it is to buy a regular PS5 Slim - does anyone know if there's any actual difference between the two once the drive is connected?

I can confirm the Yodobashi Camera in Tokyo is just two shelves from personally seeing it. Playstation, maybe 8 or so aisles of 4 racks each side. Nintendo, more than double both of them combined.
This is my Yodobashi as of a few weeks ago. It's in a major tourist hub and previously used to have a nominal, but still dedicated aisle that's been reduced to a handful of shelves that exist mostly to sell prepaid Game Pass cards and accessories. IIRC, the Akiba Yodobashi has no Xbox corner at all.

you can love a character and still admit when they're wrong. we love Shadow but we can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) and we can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he has never done anything wrong in his life) and call him out on his actions (which are always correct)

I'm an adult living in a house with no kids. But according to this technologically illiterate fucknut, if I use age verification nonsense rather than a VPN to access my BlueSky DMs, a child will be kept safe? I'd love for him to explain which children that's protecting, and how.

I don't understand this post. All you need to do to continue to see someone's tweets on Bluesky is log out, given there's no Private option like Twitter has (which is my biggest complaint about the platform).
