Our tax system is stacked in favour of the wealthy.

A 2% tax on Scotland's 10 richest families alone could raise nearly £0.5bn.

Imagine what that money could do. And it's just the start of what's possible.

We can’t build a fairer, greener future on broken promises and missed targets.

We need fair taxes to raise more money to help deliver the Scotland we all want to live in, where no child grows up in poverty.

Both Holyrood & Westminster must act.

The money’s there. The political will isn’t. Yet.

President Trump is in the UK.

If he leaves without Keir Starmer sending the message that Israeli government's genocide will not be tolerated it will be a failure of leadership.

The UK must not stand by. Not in our name. #RedLineForGaza

Oxfam's message on a black background: "Prime Minister Starmer must leverage the 'special relationship' and encourage President Trump to help bring an end to this inhumanity." The words "bring an end to this inhumanity" are in red. Black background with white text: "This is a moment to lead, not to equivocate." The word "lead" is in red. At the bottom, the white Oxfam logo appears. A new report by the Scottish Fiscal Commission has highlighted deep uncertainties over the climate price tag and who’ll pay it.

We need politicians, in Edinburgh & London, to work together to ensure the biggest polluters and the better off pay their fair share.

True, Scotland doesn’t have all the powers; that’s exactly why we’re campaigning for change at Westminster too (more here: bit.ly/3JWamAP) But that doesn’t let MSPs off the hook, they do have powers to take meaningful, fair action now, and that's what people are calling for this week.
