I received a review request from a Frontiers journal. The mail included only accept and reject buttons for taking up the review, without any deadline information, or the manuscript itself (just abstract). When I clicked accept, it assumed accept (although revertible), due in 10 days.

Never again.

“Data is not available upon request”: the latest paper finding, of articles stating that data were available upon request, only 17%…shared data upon request. 😐 Seriously stop doing this. Put it in a repository while it’s fresh; it will only get *less* convenient to share as time goes on, not more.
