It's easy to condense SANDA to its trace element of 'funny buff Santa', but I'd be remiss to not give props to the complexity of Fuyumura. A large part of this is due to Umeka Shōji's brilliant performance, shifting effortlessly between her frightening, enigmatic highs to her naïve, childish lows.

I got to the "Tell him to eat shit, Johnny" moment of Steel Ball Run, but no-one told me right after it was a panel of Gyro and Johnny going absolutely ga-ga over some roast beef sandwiches.
