Yesterday I fulfilled a dream and saw Stevie Winder in concert and it was as thrilling and exciting as you might imagine. He did 2.5 hours and did 28 FULL songs, no medley shit.

New Home Office impact assessment finds that cutting skilled and social care visas will cost the UK up to £10 billion with a central estimate of -£5.4 billion.

It would be good if this got even a fraction of the coverage devoted to the endless debate about boats, flags and Turkish barber shops

Home Office Ministers state publicly, on the record, that they are deliberately making life worse for older people and people with disabilities who depend on care services, but it's worth it because it reduces net migration.

If 50 Cent cared about doing a good thing, he’d make a documentary about his daddy Dr. Dre.

But everybody on that side always sucks his dick when they get a chance instead.
Yet he was the only person able to battle the didler. All im saying is sometimes you dont get a good cop. You get a bad cop that does good things🤷🏽

Welcome to Britain, a country so short of dentists that an MP's 87-year-old mum pulled her teeth out with pliers. Also a country with thousands of foreign-qualified dentists who can’t work until they pass an exam so oversubscribed it’s like trying to book Glasto tickets. www.ft.com/content/f4e5...

Meanwhile the trains themselves are still owned by private rolling stock leasing companies which extract huge amounts of £ from the industry (& shovel it into offshore tax havens)

Twice in two weeks, first in Germany then in England last week, I have spoken with friends who work at pro-refugee NGOs who have experienced multiple recent attacks on their offices.
This is horrifying and cannot be allowed to become normal.

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

One thing about climate change: it disproves the capitalist ideology that poor people's suffering is their own fault.

Billionaires emit as much in a day as the world's 4 billion poorest emit in a yr, yet those 4 billion humans suffer most from climate impacts.

This is inequality, and it is evil.
