I literally asked my partner this evening to play the Metaphor video game so I could watch some heroes save the world, because even my micro documentary on where restaurants get their food had We Are Suffering in it.

It was nice. Time to go learn about deep sea fish now.

I just want to get the rabbit mask done and its examples done and the stolen pattern down and breathe. And then do something anything for myself. I still have all those Ask Petros I want to do. I want to make some big art. Maybe some linocut.

I’m still waiting on The Nice Tablet cancellation to go through so I can order it from a US location. I’ve done so much brainRAM intensive work lately and I’m trying very hard not to burn out. Knocking off for today so I can check the art & animal posts tonight. Need to refill my mental well.

I am emotionally exhausted from the pattern theft (this is tabled so I can earn what I need to pay bills), my tablet dying, trying to source a new one, and learning a cheap dinky one to at least get me to pattern release. The adult size is entirely redone & page arranged. Tomorrow: print&build.

Paging any Dutch furries, artists, or intellectual property lawyers that may have some insight on procedure or action here.

Okay. I am gathering a great deal of info. I have an entity that appears to have taken one of my mask patterns, made it in EVA, then pulled a pattern from that secondarily. I overlaid my pieces & the results made me suck teeth.

So. I am US. They are Netherlands. I don't know what to do next.

I don't know if they have done me damage yet (Need to check some records), nor how the law functions in the Netherlands regarding intellectual property.

Can I get any direction on this? It is exceedingly not cool. I do understand I need a dutch professional since the problem is taking place there.

Sounds like art to me! Can you imagine finding such a thing 40 feet tall deep in the forest?

It's very cool and VERY art.

I've always been secretly jealous of folks who can name their cats these fantastical little other names, even moreso if they have a theme. I always get hung up on needing something fantastical like a person would have, but like no name you'd hear walking around. I love Tornado, Tsunami, and Haboob.

This is a custom piece by a married couple of artists I adore. The full thing is about 7 feet across. It all carved metal heated with blowtorches to change color; no pigments or dyes used.

(The artists operate as LaCosse Studio. Victoria and Scott. www.lacossestudio.com)

Is that...is that like a tortoiseshell pattern but over a mitted siamese? She is a STUNNING cat!

It fills my heart with something crystalline, good, and warm to hear of someone's heart cat. I miss mine something terrible and I'm relieved to hear yours is only 4! She's still a youngin' by our house standards. May she always be in good health and break some longevity records. She's earned it.

My god what a handsome dog. Purebred, crossbred, or dog distribution system special? He's got some soulful eyes in there and I can see straight to his heart. You're very lucky to have a working partner like him. 💙

A cat named Tornado intrigues and mildly concerns me lol. Sounds like he's got the personality I adore most in a cat; the one that accepts human speak juuuuust fine. Pretty buddy. <3

Wasn't the Okapi like that? A mysterious cryptic creature! And then...BOOM! Camera proof! There's always a little hope. :)

Deliciously rendered food AND underappreciated beautiful bats? I am HERE for Fat Bat Week! I confess I think I love the little fellow on the right the most.

See that just lets me fill in things for funsies. I like doing that. >:3

Oh WOW. That is expert use of everything they put into that piece. I want to touch the "water". Those artists have made my jaw drop a little. I love seeing what someone has mastered that I realistically know nothing of. Art's SUCH a big world.

I love it when native spiders move close enough that you can form a sort of neighborly relationship with them. The older I get the closer I look & the more I realize I've missed a lot of spider beauty in the world.

I've never seen a popcorn spider before; she's colored like a rare game collectible.

Oh beagles have the softest ears and such sweet hearts! One of the dogs amongst our friend group is a beagle mix and they won me over. Now who's got the softest ears of the three?

MMMMMM yes this is the good shit! Very pure!

But seriously I love seeing artifacts like these and they're so rare in the US because the history has been changed and turned over so many times. I like seeing how people worked a material thousands of years apart from me.
