I found the diabetes Barbie today. With deals it came to a little over $8. I have zero kids in my life, so as toys go on sale this season I plan to donate as many as I reasonably can. I’m not a JDRF fan but I am a fan of representation.

I have a great recommendation for a steak dinner. I’m a vegetarian, but I’m sure this is the same as what you’re used to.

I can’t live like this. It keeps happening. As soon as my blood sugar looks like it’s headed in a normal direction it U-turns straight back up without cause. It takes foreverrrr to go back down, and then it goes straight up again. I feel like crap.

Libre has finally filled a big ask from the diabetes community: the ability to silence alerts for up to 6 hours. This means that after you’ve corrected you don’t have to hear 900 more alarms telling you about a problem you’ve fixed.
