I'm a Notre Dame fan - I avoid social media like the plague during our games and when we lose I just stay off for hours. It sucks but it is what it is.

it's a good school and the people I've worked with who went there have been impressive but an 8 hour drive to essentially live on Hoth is very much a "not for me" thing.

for non-knowers, Michigan Tech is a very good school but it's in the UP where snow is measured in feet all winter long and it's an 8+ hour drive from the Detroit metro area.

Weis was ND’s desperation hire after losing out on Urban Meyer when he took the UF job, not some surefire hire everyone loved and was competing over.

Nobody thought it was a great hire until he went 5-0 and lost the Bush Push game to a USC team everyone thought was going to smoke ND.
