Btw, I would say that a decade in, the pre-projection version of this scene was actually probably stronger. Though Mara's face changing to counter the gift is neat, the projection-free version was eerie, intimidating, and strong in its simplicity. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Grc0...

This voice debuted w the projection mapping in the Hall of Promise, which required different timing. (In the 2013 - today version, Mara "opens his eyes," looks at riders, then rescinds the gift, requiring the audio to start later.) When the OG voice returned, it was pitched up and shortened to fit.
