I personally don’t think it reflected poorly on liberals to roll their eyes during the “obvious right-wing ratfucking operation” phase of this. Liberals cared about actual developments. MAGA types are the ones who assiduously ignored the painfully obvious Trump connection.

I don’t know. I think Epstein having pictures of Trump posing in Epstein’s kitchen with girls in bikinis is at least as publishable as Hillary asking if there is a Cabinet meeting or not.

It’s not clear this would even do what they say. If “laws as in effect on January 3, 2025” refers to Senate rules, do the rules relating to the parliamentarian also survive? So can the parliamentarian decide a thing meets reconciliation rules? Can the parliamentarian be overruled by majority vote?
