Once I was asked to do a new cover for The Giver, my sketches were immediately rejected and they asked that I just draw a version of the old edition's photo cover that already existed (which was bad) and then they never paid me for it

I always liked this Italian version of a book cover I did. The US version really butchered the framing device of the tree.
