That is awesome! I basically wrote those books for my daughter. They came out of storytelling games we played during the pandemic; she was about 7 when we started, but we kept the game going for years. They're pitched more like 12-14, but clean

Awww... thank you so much! I really hope you enjoy them! As for the fish - it won't need to sit long at all. I pretty much just serve it and by the time people are sitting down to dinner, good to go.

Sockeye! That's my favorite (outside of King/ Chinook, which is kinda expensive). The whole key is to cook it hot and not for too long; the meat will continue to cook after you take it out of the oven.

Nothing wrong with that! My favorite: Olive oil, soy sauce, onions, pepper. Bake at 475, turning twice (skin down, skin up, skin down). 12-15 minutes total. A little lemon at the end. Just sayin'. :-)

I think it's having grown up in the Seattle area, salmon were always a big deal to me, so they show up in my writing. To a ridiculous degree - there's a short story about a magic salmon in my collection, they're part of Moonfall's origin, and the key to humanity's future in Carpathians (kind of).

Not so tough; there are whole chapters about salmon in almost everything I write. Not sure why. Must reflect on this.
