I’ve been meaning to make this public and it’s finally in a “good enough to post” state: advanced analytics dashboards for MLS and NWSL. These are posted in Tableau and will get regular updates. Glossary and explanations coming soon.

The pictures here are just a preview but there’s a ton of depth:

If I were an MLS team in the market for an 8, I think Leo Walta at IK Sirius might be on the top of my list. He's not really a true 10, though, and he might be a little too expensive to pry out of Sweden without a DP deal.

Sure, you might be having one of the best seasons by a fullback *ever* in MLS, but we're going to give the top 22U22 spot to a guy who's having a moderately above average season as a CM

2nd in attacking field tilt, too.

Their inability to create chances (lowest offensive efficiency in the league) and prevent them (lowest defensive efficiency) is a work of art at this point

Crazy, almost unbelievable stat:

Sporting Kansas City is 2nd in MLS for possessions started in the opponent third. First place is Shield winner Philadelphia Union.

I think Price and Andruw Jones both did that, and both went through the Durham Bulls while doing it, and I saw both of them play live with the Bulls

I analyzed some of the more interesting storylines from the latest roster profiles and GAM release as we enter the end of the MLS regular season. How will the new rules about carrying over GAM impact teams in 2026? Seems like a bit more than we expected.

Well, we did get to play New Caledonia which gives a big bump to stats, but they seem to be gelling very well. Knockouts will likely start with Italy or Argentina which will be jumping in the deep end

Of course I had to get in the car right at the 80th minute mark of that game

He was by far the best player when Dallas played NYC. I really think if he had 3K minutes Dallas would be looking better and he’d be much more in that MVP conversation.
paulharvey.theoutfield.nyc
I also think him playing only 2400 minutes in MLS + Leagues Cup made a difference, while the main contenders are up around 3K

Gessime Yassine has 3 assists and a goal in the U20 World Cup already - playing against Spain and Brazil. Really exciting young player who currently stars for Ligue 2 side USL Dunkerque, but I’m going to hazard a guess it won’t be for long.
