Blimey, 25 years, it feels like yesterday when we crowded around the Dreamcast to check out Shenmue. It really used the DC hardware well; a lovely looking game.
Shenmue for the SEGA Dreamcast officially launched 25 years ago.

This is one of my personal favorite games of all-time and it always will be.

Happy 25 years, Ryo. 🌸

Just came across this advert from the 80s - it made me chuckle. A desk at armchair height, with the TV a good six-feet away! You can't beat a bit of "keyboarding"!

Love this!
An animated loop basd on the games of the ZX Spectrum 8 bit micro from the 1980s

This was made in photoshop and Blender and just a fun little tribute to my all time favourite home computer

This is crazy impressive!
An impressive (and, to be honest, terrifying video).

Over 16,000 drones flew up in the sky in China, setting a new Guinness record.

Just like last year, one computer was used to manage the whole show. The system tracked each drone in real time.

Noooo! The greatest movie poster guy in the business. RIP Drew, your artwork was sublime.
RIP Drew Struzan - a man whose talent and imagination etched onto so many minds throughout the last 40+ years.

His art & posters are some of the first visuals I think of when I think about cinema - an invitation to watch these stories and worlds.

A massive loss 💔

Quite proud of this. This is the original Taito flyer art for Renegade (as used for the loading screen on the Speccy version). I've had a few partial scans and B/W photocopies over the years, but finally found a dog-eared over exposed full image. Several days of re-touching and I think we're there!

I rarely go on Facebook these days, but I just popped on - it really was quite shocking how many of my "friends" on there have turned into rabid Reform-ites. Nope. Can't be bothered. Not having it. Buh-bye...

I've been a bit quiet on here for a couple of months - sorting out some family problems. Now things are a little more stable, I think I've managed to find a permanent home for all the game source code, notes, letters and other such memorabilia from the eighties and beyond to be preserved and viewed.
