NOTE: When we were working on our I am Jane Goodall kids book, she weighed in personally on the drawings to make sure that even in the pages of a cartoon biography, we were modeling good behavior so millions of kids would see how to properly take care of animals.

I tell people all the time, it's the problem of scale. Even if it's 99.99% good, when you got 50k people around, that's 5 problems. And only one of those needs to serious.

I told my wife the story, and she asked, what should you do? Call the police? I'm not sure.

But I got to thinking...that wasn't smart. What if that was like a bomb? It made me think of unattended baggage at the airport, etc. It's scary to have to think that way but I should have been thinking that way. 2/n

Hey ChemSky - has anyone been thinking about how to comply with regulations in April that all materials must be accessible? We're thinking about what that means for, inter alia, handouts with chemical structures. We're just at the beginning to think about it phase but we fear it will be daunting!

My son took geometry a couple of years ago and loved it. At the end of the year, I asked the teacher, "He really enjoyed your class. What can we do to encourage his interests?" He said, "I don't know, no one's ever asked me that before."
