Cyanobacteria's is covering side of jar proving its motility.

Under Microscope a filament with cell ends that look like a dental pick. Approx 3 Micron thick.

#Microcystis aeruginosa is actually beautiful under a #microscope. Especially when stained with indian ink, when the #mucilage (white edges) becomes visible. Colony is about 3-3,5 mm in size.#plankton is fun! #algae #microscopy #photopgraphy #freshwater #citizenscience

100 min #duiken met 5 andere duikers op pad met onderwaterscooters (DPV) in Slijk-Ewijk. Een soort autowrak en een soort korven die misschien van de zandwinning of iets anders zijn geweest. 6,5°C op 25 mtr diepte. #scuba #diving

Sped up video of the substorm onset over Ely, MN tonight. You can see beads propagating eastward then forming the poleward expanding aurora which moved north with rapid motion and energetic precipitation resulting in white/pink nitrogen fringing at the bottom of the curtain.
